Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you're feeling a loving warmth in your heart today, whether it's love for yourself, love for another, or love in general. And I'm laughing thinking of warmth right now cuz I got back from Brazil two days ago where it was in the 80s and feeling like 90s...but this morning, I woke up at 5:30am and went to an OUTDOORS early morning dance party in NYC with Angelo and some friends where it was in the 20s feeling like 10 LOL.

When I think of all the beautiful women in my life, I get a little misty-eyed. Not just because I love them so much, but also because they're the reason I've become the woman I am today. And when I think about it, they’ve all shown me how to be a woman who stands up for herself and what she believes in.

There was a month in the fall of 2019 where bees kept showing up in my life as images, symbols, and there was even a bee that got into one of my workshops, which I lovingly cradled into a cup to set free outside. I had just moved to New York and I felt like they were trying to get my attention so I started to let myself be guided by them and playing with the signs they would give me…

It's officially quarter four! When you look back on the first three quarters of 2023, how do you feel? Surprised? Relieved? Ecstatic? Disappointed? Meh? Maybe there's a whole mix of emotions! But however you feel, there might still be a dream nudging inside of you that wants your time and energy for it to blossom.

For the past few days, my mom and I have been cleaning out my abuela's shop in the downtown market here in her hometown in Mexico. It's been really tough but also nostalgic, fulfilling, and joyful at times too. A cocktail of emotions.

This past weekend, Angelo and I road tripped up to Maine to visit Acadia State Park. Mountains, beaches, forests, and ponds...everywhere we looked there was another nature masterpiece! 

Whenever people try to guess my ethnicity, I have to laugh. I get everything from Greek to Thai to Colombian to IDK lol. This was confusing for me as a kid, but today I stand very proud in who I am: a bicultural Latina who's a mix of my mom's Mexican and my dad's German-American blood. I like to think of it as the best of both worlds!
