The moment she walked onstage, my eyes widened trying to get a good look...was that a rose crown?!? She wore a dazzling floor-length silver goddess dress with a soft pink flower halo around her face. She literally looked like a goddamn priestess!!
My girl Hannah was sitting right beside me saying, "Oh my god...she didn't wear THAT in Chicago," then went on to say this was her favorite opening outfit yet. She's been following some of the costume changes!

Seriously though, cuz there was so much religious, mystical, and spiritual symbolism I was freaking out...feeling so in awe to be in a time and place where all of it can intersect so seamlessly in MetLife stadium. There was even a (spoiler alert) BEE COSTUME. Oh my GAWD, I lost it then. Bees, roses, priestess energy, y'all KNOW that I loved it LOL.
But you know, what I loved the most? The way she took the stage. The fearlessness and undoubted knowing that she was the queen of the night. And the gratitude to herself that she built it all, with help from her worker bees of course.
