people often forget this 🧲

Recently, I've seen so much about manifesting, being magnetic, and attracting what you want. Probs because it's January but to be honest, sometimes I roll my eyes at the word 'magnetic' LOL.

Because there's something about magnets that people tend to forget...they attract just as much as they repel.

When I was a kid I was obsessed with getting one end of a strong magnet as close as possible to another but, no matter how hard I tried, they would always stay at least a centimeter apart.

This metaphor applies to humans too because if you're truly yourself, you will repel just as many people as you attract.

Even the most idolized people in the world experience this! There were so many times I heard people in Puerto Rico say (mostly men let's be real) that they couldn't believe how much people love Bad Bunny.

"No entiendo porque vinieron a ver ese tipo." Translation: I don't understand why you guys came to see that dude.

Side note: I can't tell you how excited I am about the Benito Bowl! I'm throwing a full-on perreo party in my living room and will definitely be popping off and rolling on the floor during halftime!

But even I didn't like Bad Bunny when he first came into the reggaeton scene...he repelled me! That was a few years ago and wow have things changed LOL.

Have you ever felt like insect repellant to others? I can think of a hilarious example where that happened to me...

I was in Italy for the first time about a decade ago and my travel buddy and I were experimenting with growing out our body hair...everywhere.

A few months before, I had also shaved my head so I had hair everywhere a normal Italian woman would not. Legs, armpits, nether-regions...you've got the drift.

One day, we were on the train going to Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast (I think...memory feels fuzzy) and the passenger seats were 2x2 and facing each other.

Twenty minutes in, an Italian woman came to sit in front of us in our four-seat space and once she saw our legs, she physically and visibly started GAGGING. Hahahaha I kid you not!! Omg I thought she was about to throw up!!

She literally could not STAND the sight! We probably didn't smell good either cuz I think at that point we were experimenting with the no-deodorant lifestyle HAHA. I'm smiling so wide giggling to myself about this as I type :P

I know a lot more about Italian culture a whole decade later (thanks Angelo!) so I realize how much of a FULL-BODY NO we were for her LOL.

We repelled the shit out of her! And on the other end of things, we attracted a lot of eclectic, eccentric people along the way too.

One of them was a 60 year-old man who sang at the top of his lungs while he hiked and wore feathers in his hair hahaha. Way more fun in my opinion!

So if you want to be more magnetic, remember that you will also repel some people and that's a good thing! If you want to know how to attract and magnetize the right people though, you'll love this video on YouTube <3

In it, I share...

- Five principles to be insanely magnetic.
- What not to do if you want to attract more kindred spirits.
- How to create an abundance of connections and opportunities.

Watch it on YouTube and remember to repel and attract just like a magnet!
