This past Sunday, I went peach picking for the first time with Angelo plus a group of friends. All of us had gone apple or pumpkin picking before...
But peaches? None of us had ever picked peaches so we didn't know what to expect! I just kinda thought it's Angelo's favorite fruit so why not!
And to be honest with you, I don't love fruit that much if it's sour, underripe, or hard. It's gotta be just right. My favorite fruit is also mango (what's yours??) and there's definitely not mango picking around here LOL.
Once we drove through the maze of orchard fields, we saw the lines of peach trees around a corner, parked, and started our picking journey. Angelo really took his time cuz he knew exactly what he was looking for.
Everyone else was in the trees, admiring the colors, the smells, relishing in the nourishing outdoor space...and then we reached the back rows of peach trees. That's where we found THE PEACH.
This peach is one that Angelo picked, a peach-picking expert on his first try haha, and he broke it apart with his hands to share knowing that it was gonna be good...
One look at the juice glistening inside and I knew I had to have a bite. Everyone could actually have one cuz it was giant, and the response was unanimous, "Mmm....oh my god." The gentle luxuriating of peach bliss.
Melt-in-mouth texture, perfectly sweet and juicy, it was the peach of all peaches. That alone was worth the trip and reminded me of one of the most delicious parts of life: total sensual activation. Seeing the bright orange-yellow color, smelling the ripeness in the air, tasting peach heaven, feeling the juice dripping on our skin, then hearing the collective moan from the group LOL...it was a full-body experience.
But sometimes, it's easy to cast off sensual experiences for later...for when you "have more time" or are in the mood to indulge. Maybe it can be easier and better than that... And maybe the more sensual energy you infuse into your life, the more health, love, and success come your way because you become a magnet for feel-good energy, opportunities, and people <3
