This past weekend, Angelo and I road tripped up to Maine to visit Acadia State Park. Mountains, beaches, forests, and ponds...everywhere we looked there was another nature masterpiece! 

Whenever people try to guess my ethnicity, I have to laugh. I get everything from Greek to Thai to Colombian to IDK lol. This was confusing for me as a kid, but today I stand very proud in who I am: a bicultural Latina who's a mix of my mom's Mexican and my dad's German-American blood. I like to think of it as the best of both worlds!

When Angelo and I first crossed paths salsa dancing in Central Park, it was September 5th, 2020 (we just celebrated three years together two days ago!) and Labor Day weekend was in full swing. 

I went to brunch with a friend this weekend and after we dove into delicious dishes like green shakshuka and a sweet summer corn dip, we started talking about a business idea that had popped into her life recently...

This past Sunday, I went peach picking for the first time with Angelo plus a group of friends. All of us had gone apple or pumpkin picking before...but peaches? None of us had ever picked peaches so we didn't know what to expect!

In the past few weeks, I've had a lot going on and maybe you have as well! For me, it started off with two back-to-back visits. First with one of my best friends (we got to see Beyonce OMG) and then with my parents. So fun, right? Yes! And also...exhausting!

The moment she walked onstage, my eyes widened trying to get a good look...was that a rose crown?!? She wore a dazzling floor-length silver goddess dress with a soft pink flower halo around her face. She literally looked like a goddamn priestess!!
